Drug description
Clamoxyl LA
Clamoxyl LA contains 150 mg amoxicillin trihydrate (15%) per 1 ml with aluminum stearate and fractionated coconut oil. Amoxicillin is a broad-spectrum semi-synthetic penicillin antibiotic with bactericidal action against Gr+ and Gr- bacteria.
Used for bacterial infections of the GI tract, respiratory tract, urogenital system, skin and soft tissues, necrobacillosis, abscesses, joint infections, and for surgical infection prophylaxis. Administered IM or SC: 1 ml per 10 kg (15 mg/kg), no more than 20 ml per site. Repeat after 48 hours. Milk — after 9 days. Slaughter — after 92 days. Storage: 2–25°C, 3 years. Pack: 100 ml vials.
