Drug description

OrbeSeal

OrbeSeal contains 2.6 g bismuth subnitrate, liquid paraffin, aluminum stearate, and colloidal silicon dioxide. It has astringent, adsorbent, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory properties. After insertion into the teat, an immobile mass forms that mechanically prevents pathogens from entering the udder and prevents mastitis during the dry period.

Applied once: one syringe is inserted into each teat of all cows after the last milking before dry-off. For subclinical mastitis, it is used after Orbenin DC or EDC. The product is not absorbed and does not adversely affect udder tissue. After calving, it is removed with the first colostrum. No slaughter withdrawal. Storage: 2–25°C, 5 years. Pack: 4 g in plastic syringes.
