Drug description
NSAID RIMADYL TABLETS
Rimadyl P is an NSAID in tablet form containing carprofen: 20 mg, 50 mg, or 100 mg per tablet. The tablets have liver flavoring for easier oral administration in dogs.
Indicated for symptoms of inflammation and pain in acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, and for post-operative analgesia.
Initial dose: 4 mg/kg/day orally, divided into 2 administrations. After 7 days of treatment, the daily dose may be reduced to 2 mg/kg. For chronic conditions, treatment may be continued for the lifetime of the animal under veterinary supervision.
Prohibited for use in pregnant bitches. Do not administer with other NSAIDs. Store at 0°C–25°C. Shelf life: 3 years.
