Drug description

Synulox LC

Synulox LC contains per 3 g suspension: 200 mg amoxicillin trihydrate, 50 mg clavulanic acid (calcium clavulanate), and 10 mg prednisolone with calcium-sodium aluminosilicate, emulsifying wax, and white and liquid paraffin. Clavulanic acid inactivates penicillinase of resistant organisms. Prednisolone reduces swelling and inflammation.

Used for mastitis treatment in lactating cows. Administered three times at 12-hour intervals intracisternally. Milk from healthy quarters is discarded during treatment and for 60 hours after the last administration. Slaughter — after 7 days. Storage: 2–25°C, 18 months. Pack: 3 g in plastic syringes.
