Drug description
Antibacterial Agent SYNULOX TABLETS
Synulox is available in tablets of 50 mg (amoxicillin 40 mg + clavulanate 10 mg), 250 mg (200 + 50 mg), and 500 mg (400 + 100 mg).
The product has a broad spectrum of bactericidal activity against Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., E. coli, Salmonella spp., Pasteurella spp., Klebsiella spp., and other microorganisms, including β-lactamase-producing strains.
Administered orally at a single dose of 12.5 mg/kg twice daily. For severe infections, the dose may be doubled to 25 mg/kg. Standard treatment duration is 5–7 days; for chronic or difficult-to-treat conditions, up to 28 days.
Do not use in animals with allergy to penicillins or in Pseudomonas infections. Store at 0°C–25°C. Shelf life: 2 years.
