Drug description
ScourGuard 4KC
The vaccine contains inactivated bovine coronavirus (Hansen isolate) and rotaviruses (serotypes G6 and G10), inactivated E. coli enterotoxigenic strain NL 1005 with K99 adhesion factor, beta-toxoid of Clostridium perfringens type C, and preservatives: gentamicin, thimerosal, and Quil A adjuvant. Appearance: white to pale yellow suspension.
The vaccine promotes colostral immunity in newborn calves against diarrhea caused by corona- and rotaviruses (G6 and G10), E. coli with K99 factor, and Clostridium perfringens type C. Heifers and pregnant cows are vaccinated twice with a 3–4-week interval. The second dose must be given no later than 3–6 weeks before calving. Dose: 2 ml intramuscularly in the neck area. Revaccination — before each calving. Slaughter — not earlier than 21 days after vaccination. Storage: 2–7°C, 18 months. Pack size: 20 ml vial (10 doses).
